Samenvatting
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being used clinically in medical imaging. Since the performance of AI can change over time (e.g., changes in procedures, systems, or population), systematic evaluation is not only crucial for patient safety but also legally required. However, knowledge on how to organize periodic validation and monitoring of AI is lacking. As a first step, this study maps current practices, contributing to the development of a practical working method and proof of concept for periodic validation and monitoring of AI in hospitals. Attached are the Powerpoint of the oral presentation on the Supporting Health By Technology 15th International Conference, june 4-5 2026, the submission of the oral presentation and the Abstract Book of the conference.
