NeedForHeat Measurement Tools : REDUCEDHEATCARB Deliverable D2.2

Samenvatting

This deliverable is one of the results of the project Research on Energy Data Utilization for Carbon Emission Decline by Heat pumps and Efficiency, while Assuring Thermal Comfort Achievement in Residential Buildings (REDUCEDHEATCARB). This deliverable lists and links to the open source and open hardware designs of NeedForHeat DataGear: measurement tools designed and implemented for data collection. Compared to earlier versions of NeedForHeat DataGear, enhancements of the NeedForHeat GearUp app include OAuth2-based authentication for online data streams, improved energy query handling, and data collection health monitoring. Measurement device firmware updates improve compatibility with older smart meters, streamlined presence detection. Server updates include data retrieval from cloud feeds based on Enelogic (OAuth2) permission and enhanced support for rendering of Markdown-based campaign and device manuals.
